The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on July 22, 2026, has issued a communiqué informing Depository Participants (DPs) and investors about the SEBI Circular dated July 21, 2026 on the operationalisation of freezing of holdings of promoters, promoter group and their associates at the ISIN level under Regulation 24(i)(ea) of the SEBI (Buy-back of Securities) Regulations, 2018. DPs and investors have been advised to take note of the operational framework prescribed by SEBI and ensure compliance with the requirements outlined in the circular.
